Field Trip for Harvard University
Today we are going to traveling one of the most famous Universities around the world which located in 8 Garden Street Cambridge Boston, Massachusetts. Exactly, that is the Harvard University that has the first rank of the university in Top 100. Fortunately, we have the opportunity to broaden our horizon and learn more about this great University.
As we all know, Harvard University was the oldest college in America, it was founded in 1636. Moreover, it was the earliest private university in US which to foster scientific research-oriented graduate students. Up to now, Harvard University has developed has 10 graduate schools, 40 faculties, and more than 100 major professional institutions The school motto of Harvard is Amicus Plato, Amicus Aristotle, sed Magis Amicus VERITAS that means observe and inspect truth. Therefore all students in Harvard attempt to try their best to approach truth then utilize it in daily life.
Harvard University located as same as the first underground railway and the first phone line. It is praised as the U.S. government think tank. Innumerable successful person graduated from Harvard University. It has fostered 8 American president, 40 Nobel laureates and 30 Pulitzer Prize winners. What’s more, it has trained Microsoft, IBM the founder of a commercial miracle. Actually, each move of Harvard University will determine America's social development and economic trend. For study in Harvard, you should be special and intelligent.
Although we can’t graduate from Harvard, we still should understand the spirit of it. “More doing, less speaking” it will exert a great effort on our study life.
