Happy July
I have had a very impressive tour this Friday to visit the State House of Massachusetts. It’s a magnificent building face the Boston common which construct more than two hundred years ago. It almost has a same age of the United States and I feel monumental because I visit this symbol of America just before the Independent Day.
The building looks more like a big museum instead of a government place for me when I walk inside. There are exhibitions everywhere inside and outside this structure, each artwork stands for a special period of history of Massachusetts. It’s a place where full of histories and honors, I can feel it, smell it and touch it even I am not a citizen of Massachusetts. The place where representative vote for laws in this building is still used today even if it was build hundreds years ago. Every brick in this building become drop water in the river of American culture.
Dozens of flags used in different period of America are hanged in the center hall represent for honor; huge paintings describe the big moments of the state are decorated around the wall; Statues of great person of United States stand in the piazza, these are the real treasure and the power source of this great country.
You make me admired.
