Friday, our field trip's destination was Harvard University which is the most outstanding University in the world. This was a wonderful trip, because we had a opportunity to touch the oldest institution of higher learning in the United States.
Harvard University was established in 1636 and in her about 270 years' history. She created total 7 United States Presidents for US : John Adams, John Quincy Adams, Theodore, Franklin Roosevelt, JFK and John Bush. So we can call it one the most successful universities in the American history and the history of world.
Friday morning, we met at Ruggles station again and took the orange line and transfer
the red line at Downtown station. We arrived the Harvard University at about 1o o'clock and a guide called Andy led us to visited the Harvard University. Harvard's campus is full of culture and ancient architecture and old trees tell us the Harvard's history.
In the Harvard campus, the Harvard campus gave me the most profound impression, the Harvard University library system consists of Harvard College library and the libraries of the graduate and professional schools. Together these libraries house more than 15 million volumes, constituting the largest university library collection in the world.
So this Harvard trip was so wonderful and rich, I'm looking forward next trip!
