This week we went to Harvard University which known as the world most famous college located in Cambridge.
Not only own fanastic quantity of teaching, Harvard University's research quality is also regard
as a first-class in the world.
It is fortunate that we have got a free student-led who just finished his freshman year in maths, he leads us walking through the building, tells us the story which attreck us a lot. The history of Harvard really involve lots of things.
In order to have a undisturbed environment to study and research,
Harvard declined most of the visitors, filming of movies to get into the teaching area,
so what we can visit today is the dorm of the students and some libraries.
And we can not get into these building except a place which used to be the graduation room.
Since the university used to called New College,
the name of Harvard is the name after John Harvard,
who bequeathed the university his library of
four hundred books and £779 pounds sterling,
which was half of his estate. Here is a picture of this toe,
it is said that people who touched his can get into Harvard. May be because of this his toe looks totally different from other part of the statue.
