The Massachusetts State House

The state house located in the Beacon Hill which is near to the Boston common. With the golden dome, the state house can be seen in a long distance.
Enter the main building; we saw a model of the state house that is exact as same as the real building. The guide told us the only different between the model and the real one is the color of the dome.
In the second floor, at the end of the Doric Hall an impressive bronze status located nears the stairs. It is Massachusetts Civil war hero William Francis Bartlett. The hero lying in his comrade’s arms and his gun in near him. Though he was wounded in the war tired and weak, he still holds his weapon in his hands tightly. This shows strong and staunch that the soldiers have. Based on this they can win the civil war.
The nurses’ hall is the next place that I like. There are some nurses’ statues those people served in the civil war. The collection of art that called “HEAR US” honors all women who devoted themselves to Massachusetts government.
I am looking forward the celebration of July 4.
