Last week our team went to Boston Black Heritage Trail which includes some important sites in American Black History. The trail begins at Robert Gould Shaw and 54th Regiment Memorial and end at The African Meeting House. Each person is asked to give a presentation before one site. Among the 14 sites, I found it’s interesting when I walked along the Lewis and Harriet Hayden House.

The house was built in 1833 and its owner, Lewis Hayden and his wife Harriet were famous leaders in Underground Railroad activities. I made a presentation before this house with my partner Elaine.
Thanks to this interesting trip, I have learn more historic information about American black history. I am hoping for the next trip!
