The Old Massachusetts State House
Last Friday we went to the Old Massachusetts State House. This building is very huge. The Massachusetts State House was built on January 11, 1798. The Massachusetts State House, also called Massachusetts Statehouse or the "New" State House, is the state capitol and seat of government of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. It is located at Boston in the Beacon Hill neighborhood. There is a big golden dome in this building. This building gives me a magnificent feeling. In front of the building is an equestrian statue. There are a lot of sculptures and paintings in the house. The Massachusetts Senate occupying the former House of Representatives Chamber under the dome. The Massachusetts House of Representatives occupies a chamber on the west side. All in all thought this trip I understood more about the United States. Also I understood about MA than before.
On the Sunday night we went to see the fire work. It is really beautiful. Many American people sang the national anthem. I can feel they love their country very much just like I love my home country. So I think wherever we live, we should love our country.
