The trip to Harvard university

Last week we went to Harvard University which is the best school ever in my mind. It is a private university located in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and a member of the Ivy League. We met at Ruggles at 9:30 and followed a tour guide that walked around the campus. According to the instructor, the Harvard University was established in 1636 by the colonial Massachusetts legislature, now the university comprises ten separate academic units. First, we walked around the Harvard Yard and saw many essential buildings such as Memorial Church and Library. What impressed me most is the statue of John Harvard, who was the first benefactor of the college so that the university was named Harvard College in his honor.[ The statue is located centrally in Harvard Yard, next to University Hall, so people can find it easily.
It was a great tour that gives inspirations about my further study.
