I had a great time at this weekend and my schedule was pretty full. On Saturday, I went shopping with my friends at downtown crossing. We found plenty of fancy and good-quality clothes at a rather low price at H&M. As a result, each of us end up with 2 bags of new clothes and went back to our dorms exhaustedly.
On Sunday, we took the train to Chinatown and finally found the superb C-market. There were tons of different kinds of Chinese vegetables and typical Chinese goods which thrilled us because we have not seen these delicious foods for a month! More excitingly, the price of the goods here are rather low compared with the price of the same products at other supermarkets. For example, the price of Chinese cabbage here is only $0.38 per pound, however, at Shaw’s, Chinese cabbage was charged $2.99 per pound.
After an enjoyable shopping at C-market, we headed to a delicious Chinese Hotpot Restaurant. It is a hotpot buffet and only charges $15 per person. We enjoyed our most satisfactory lunch since we arrived in the U.S. and ate lots of various vegetables. Our dining hall only serves salad and I have been eating the same vegetable for a month! Therefore, a delicious hotpot is really what I need right now.
