Friday morning we went to visit some sites including THE BOSTON COMMOM, PARK STREET, GRANARY BURYING GROUND, and THE OLD STATE HOUSE. I introduced THE OLD STATE HOUSE. THE OLD STATE HOUSE is an ancient building. It is a historic legislative building at the intersection of Washington and State Street in Boston. It built in 1713. It is the oldest surviving public building in Boston.
In front of the building, I feel the long history of the United States. In Saturday I went into this building. I saw many cultural relics about colonial. On the second floor, the east side contained the council chamber of the Royal governor while the west end of the second floor contained chamber for the courts of Suffolk country and the MA supreme judicial court.
Today this building is located in downtown of Boston. THE OLD STATE HOUSE surrounded by financial district. We can see that many tall buildings encircle the OLD STATE HOUSE. I can feel to the building in this city has great significance. So I think this building need a good protection. Because it can let more people know about American history.
