I’ve spent plenty of time walking through Downtown Crossing, but I have never been to freedom Trail. This Friday, I spent my whole morning on the freedom trail which takes me to various historical sites throughout the city.
It is fun to visit these sites, I think.
We have been divided into 2 groups. The trails started at a nice park which called Boston Common and it ended at Copp’ hill. Every time we just have a quick walk through, and then went to the other sites. I was wondering that why there would be so many burying Grounds in the center of the city.
Because of the hot weather, most students preferred to return. Few of us followed Rebecca and continued to walk through. The last stop was Bunker Hill Monument. You should climb the 294 steps then it would lead you to the pinnacle. What a pity that there are no elevators in the monument; however, the amazing visit at the end of the journey is well worth it.
My friend told me that Quincy Market was on the freedom trail, and it is one of the best Boston shopping, dining and entertainment areas. Unfortunately, I hadn’t the chance to visit it this Friday, but I planned to go there next Saturday.
