It is nearly the end of our summer bridge. This week we went to the last trip. Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) is a private research university located in Cambridge, Massachusetts. MIT Museum is found by MIT in 1971 which hosts collections of holography, artificial intelligence, robotics, maritime history, and the history of MIT. The museum shows visitors a technological world.
This holography is called Tigirl made by Professor Margaret Benyon, it shows how an architect can realize a space in three dimensions before a project is built.
This is one of the famous stuff in the MIT Museum. Called as Kismet, it is a multimedia excursion into the world of artificial intelligence, Robots and Beyond throws open the doors of MIT's Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, where scientists have been probing the mysteries of A.I. for five decades.
No doubt, the museum is interresting and let me know lots of things that I did not before. At the same time, the souvenir there is also has their own characteristics; chemical element clock, mug with machine drawing, transform diagram postcard which make me want to get all of them.
After the visit to the museum, I go for a walk in the main campus of MIT with Lisa. We saw some of the world famous building such the Simmons Hall, the Eero Saarinen's Kresge Auditorium, they looks magnificent. And we take a shuttle bus in MIT which make me excited.
I am glad I could have such a chance to Boston, to NEU, to these interesting tirps.
